At Courtenay BJJ, we offer structured, high-quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for kids, teens, and adults in Courtenay, BC. Our academy is led by Black Belt instructor Gryphon Lalonde, who brings over 16 years of training and international teaching experience to the mats.

Gryphon began his Jiu-Jitsu journey at the age of 10 under the guidance of his father, Professor Spencer Lalonde — founder and owner of Submission Arts Academy. Since then, he has developed a deep passion for teaching and competition.
